The next NutriWales breakfast briefing will be hosted with Innovate UK on Tuesday 22nd March, 8:00am registration and 8:30am start, at the Village Hotel Ewloe, near Chester.
The briefing will focus on ‘Developing & funding R&D strategies for the food sector’, looking at how food businesses can fund their R&D through various funding competitions which support innovation, and will include speakers from Innovate UK, the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), and Enterprise Europe Network. R&D tax credits are an often under-utilised tax relief scheme which can help subsidise new product development or improvements – yet many food companies don’t take advantage of this source of funding. Steve Livingston from IP Tax Solutions will also be on hand to offer his insights into how R&D Tax Credits can be used by food businesses to fund R&D, innovation and NPD.
