This forum is being organised to give participants the opportunity to hear the latest initiatives to address jobs and growth in an EU context. Delegates will be able to hear from the European Commission about the EU’s new Investment Package for jobs and growth as well as the funding opportunities available from the European Funding Programme 2014-2020. They will also have the chance to share experiences with companies who have traded successfully within the European Union.

The Right Honourable Carwyn Jones AM, First Minister of Wales, will deliver the opening address.  He will be followed by speakers from the European Commission, the Federation of Small Businesses (Wales) and one of Wales’ EU Funding Ambassadors. Jane Hutt AM, Minister for Finance & Government Business will also make a keynote address. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from case studies from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and a University based company and on how they have successfully accessed the single market and taken advantage of EU funding. The event will close with a question and answer session to the speakers.
