Industrial Biotechnology and the UK Technology Strategy Board (TSB):
The current funding landscape and opportunities in industrial biotechnology

Guest speaker: Dr Yvonne Armitage, Industrial Biotechnology Sector Lead Industrial Biotechnology is a priority area for funding by RCUK and the Technology Strategy Board. TSB supports industry led projects and through connect links to the BBSRC/ EPSRC initiative that include National Networks in Industrial Biotechnology. Dr Yvonne Armitage is industrial biotechnology lead at the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) of Technology Strategy Board. The KTNs are one of the Technology Strategy Board’s key tools for helping the UK’s innovation communities to connect with each other, collaborate and find out about new opportunities in key research and technology sectors. She will highlight the current funding landscape and opportunities in industrial biotechnology.
