The first UK Personalized Medicine World Conference (PMWC) on April 15-17 at Oxford University is the ninth conference of the well-established PMWC series from Silicon Valley, see videos here.

The content-rich agenda promises a traverse of the different elements of personalized medicine which has the goal of minimizing diseases, enhancing health, and increasing personalized care for established diseases. With that in mind the conference will start off with an assessment of the current state of Personalized Medicine by Sir John Bell, followed by Sir John Chisholm’s presentation on the Genomics England International Initiative, the 100,000 Genome Project and by Eric Green, Director of National Human Genome Research Institute presentation about the newly presented Obama initiative on Precision Medicine.
