Tailored specifically for companies who are active within the software industry, this workshop will explore the various ways in which intellectual property (IP) rights impact upon the commercialisation of software-related products and services.

The workshop will explain the various types of IP, how they are relevant to the software industry, and how they can be used to support and maximise your growth (or potentially used against you by other parties).  There will be a focus on the commercial exploitation of IP with guidance on how to leverage your IP rights to protect and nurture your creativity.  Topics such as IP ownership, exporting overseas, licensing and security/data protection will be discussed along the way.
