The pan-Wales Strategic Insight Programme (SIP) provides funding for short term placements for organisations to work with universities. The event on 23rd January is a chance for you to find out how working with a university can help your business.

The Strategic Insight Programme is a pan Wales initiative which supports and facilitates short term placements of university staff into external organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Essentially, the placements are centred around knowledge exchange and creating long term, mutually beneficial relationships.

In terms of the benefits to an organisation the placements give access to academic expertise, further funding opportunities and creation of long term collaborative relationships with one or more Welsh university. Other benefits are around innovation, provision of expertise, employability and the transfer of ‘real world’ business examples back into the university curriculum, often creating opportunities for student placements and internships.
