Business Networking Meeting

The ESTnet are pleased to announce that Alan Norbury, Central Technology Officer for Siemens Automation, will speak at the next ESTnet Business Networking meeting on 11 May at the SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff.

Industry 4.0, the ‘fourth industrial revolution’ offers fantastic opportunities for manufacturing companies and technology firms in the supply chain. Mr. Norbury will talk about how Siemens have embraced this new technology, what it means to their existing and potential suppliers, and other opportunities it presents.

Joining Mr. Norbury will be a representative from the Manufacturing Technology Centre Catapult (MTC) who will speak about how Welsh companies can learn about new opportunities by visiting the Industry 4.0 Demonstrator at their premises in Coventry.

Industry 4.0 is something we as an industry in Wales need to take advantage of.
