Collaborating for Research Success

Join us for the Wales Cancer Partnership’s conference, hosted by the Wales Cancer Research Centre. The event will play host to a wealth of both cancer care and research expertise and bring together components of cancer research through a series of talks and workshops.

The conference is aimed at anyone working in cancer care or research at all levels, and we also welcome members of the public and patients to join us. The overall theme for the conference is collaborating for research success. The day’s activity will give you an opportunity to hear examples of successful collaborations between NHS, third sector and pharma. We will have a focus on aligning research priorities to clinical need, and involving patients and the public in research.

You will hear about the progress made by the Wales Cancer Research Centre in the last year, as well as hearing from a number of other cancer organisations, all coming together to bring their ideas about research collaboration to the forefront.

Together, we can build on the already excellent cancer research coming out of Wales. Join us in our collaborative fight against cancer.

The day will conclude with an opportunity to network over tea and cakes.
