Wales Gene Park and Cancer Research UK have arranged a public event about bowel cancer.
Bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in Wales, with 2000 people diagnosed each year. To find out more about it, join Wales Gene Park and Cancer Research UK to hear experts talk on current research and clinical aspects, and how the national screening programme is helping to detect bowel cancer in Wales.
Learn how bowel cancer can sometimes be genetic and run in families, and hear a personal account from someone affected by bowel cancer. There will also be an opportunity for questions with our experts.
‘Clues in you poo’ is being held on Wednesday 2nd December, 6-7.30pm at the Hadyn Ellis building. Talks start at 6pm, with refreshments served from 5.30pm.
This event is free of charge but you must register to attend via Eventbrite here
