The Welsh QP Forum hold an annual meeting where the aim is to help QPs stay current with industry and regulatory changes. The Welsh QP Forum was started in 2012 by a groups of local QPs who put together a position paper to the MHRA regarding the classification of NIMPS.
This blossomed into an active group who meet quarterly for regulatory updates and annually for a one day conference. The group also helps a local university deliver courses on GMP and GDP.
This is a one day meeting for IMP or Commercial QPs or for trainees wishing to keep abreast with current issues. There is one session where the attendees are asked to submit questions to a panel of experts. This normally generates constructive and lively discussion. It is a small informal meeting with the aim to foster an atmosphere of challenging discussion but with a pragmatic approach on how to implement best practice and updates in regulatory requirements.
