EIT Health InnoSTARS Awards 2016

SME’s in Wales can apply for  EUR10,000 grant for health innovation ideas

SME’s within the healthcare sector can apply for EUR10,000 and support to get your business concepts off the ground and to market.

The Innostars Awards have been announced by European Network, EIT Health, to support innovation in health care within four regions: Wales, Hungary, Poland and Portugal. See further details on the EIT Health InnoStars website, and in the competition document.

Who can apply:

Micro and small enterprises, start-ups and even those not yet registered as legal entities, as long as you’re within the health sector and have a new idea you’ve not yet implemented within the categories below.

Eligible categories:

Your idea should address one each of the following societal and business challenges:

  • Societal challenges: promoting healthy living, supporting active ageing, improving healthcare.
  • Business challenges: lifestyle interventions, self-management of health, workplace interventions, overcoming functional loss, improving healthcare systems, treating and managing chronic diseases.

The deadline is 15th June 2016 and application is by online form.
