British UKTI Wound Care Mission to China : 7 – 11 July 2014

UK Trade & Investment is organising a wound care focused trade mission to China
in July 2014. The mission will encompass active participation in the China
International Wound Care and Products Conference, hosted by China Chamber of
Commerce for Import and Export of Medical Health Products (CCCMHPIE).
The conference will be held on July 10 – 11 2014 at Crowne Plaza, Hefei City, Anhui
Province (3 hours by train from Shanghai) and will focus on promoting the
development of the skin and wound care industry. It offers the opportunity to network
with more than 250 manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, researchers and physicians
from top Chinese hospitals, Government officials as well as experts from scientific
research institutions looking to exchange ideas and collaborate with their peers.
Further activities to promote your business internationally will be organised by UKTI
sector specialists during the week including a chance to participate in the high level
Joint Economic Trade Commission (JETC) held in Suzhou (25 minutes from
Shanghai) on 8th July.
Market access funding of £750 may be available for eligible UK companies to
attend this mission. At this stage we are registering interest from UK companies who
would be keen to attend what promises to be an exciting mission with huge potential
for unlocking new business opportunities within the Chinese market.
