Geldards recognised as a leading law firm in this year’s Legal 500 report

Geldards is delighted to have been recognised as a leading law firm in this year’s Legal 500 report, the annual guide to UK law firms.

National firm Geldards has achieved ‘regional heavyweight’ status in Wales and the East Midlands, recognised across a staggering 32 specialisms and practice areas nationwide, 70% of these being named first or second tier advisers.

Notable recognition includes the firm’s ‘first-class’ corporate and commercial practice which attracts praise for its ‘stunning advice’- maintaining Tier 1 status across the country. In addition, Geldards’ commercial litigation team are recognised for their ‘pragmatic and cost-effective advice’.

A first for the firm, Geldards’ family practice is lauded for its ‘efficient, accurate, and client-focused advice’. With celebrated mention of Claire Dean, who ‘will go the extra mile for her clients’, and Fiona Apthorpe, who has key strength in cases involving children.

The release of Legal 500 2016 has also given high profile recognition to a record number of seventeen of the firm’s lawyers rated as ‘leading individuals’ in their field with a further 32 lawyers ‘recommended’ – a rise on last year’s edition.
