Pelican Feminine Healthcare to launch the latest women’s health medical devices at Arab Health 2016
Pelican Feminine Healthcare – a UK manufacturer of single-use medical devices for women’s health – has announced the launch of two products from its Gynaecology and Obstetrics range at Arab Health 2016.
Pelican is committed to the continuous developments of pioneering healthcare solutions in women’s health and this year, will be showcasing their newest innovations at the congress – the FETOfit®, a strapless foetal monitoring solution and PELIspec® Pro-Wall designed to offer added vaginal wall support.
Simple, secure and strapless, the FETOfit® is a disposable device specifically designed to secure both TOCO and CTG transducers quickly and easily for foetal monitoring.
The hypoallergenic adhesive pads adhere directly to the front of the abdomen with a flexible material that moulds to body contours, offering a secure fit whilst promoting maternal comfort and mobility with easy access for epidural.
Also on display will be the PELIspec® Pro-Wall®, a device that provides a professional solution in cases of anterior vaginal wall laxity.
It features a ready-applied latex-free sheath configured to efficiently secure an unobstructed view of the cervical anatomy ensuring maximum visibility during the procedure, whilst saving time wasted modifying existing speculum.
Launching in the Middle East for the first time, both products offer a cost effective but high quality single-use solution. Developed in conjunction with specialist clinicians, Pelican’s market-leading innovations are manufactured to the highest quality standards which is reinforced by stringent monitoring processes with over 15,000 quality control checks performed annually and across their product range.
The company will be at Arab Health 2016 to gain feedback from the Middle Eastern medical community on their products and discuss how single-use products can best benefit hospitals in the region.

Arab Health 2016 is the largest healthcare exhibition and medical congress in the Middle East, and will be taking place from 25 – 28th January 2016. Throughout the show Pelican will be located in Zabeel Hall as part of the Welsh Pavilion, Stand Z1H30.
