Cannabidiol (CBD) – Pandora’s Box? A status update

Cannabidiol (CBD) continues to make headlines, whether as the next big thing in food and drink or being the centre of controversy. In Jan 2019 a change in the status of CBD on the Novel Food Union List caused ripples across the wellness sector. No definitive position has yet to be agreed, with trade associations lobbying hard both within UK and Europe. Whilst we are unlikely to have all the answers, there will be external speakers present. There may be some resolution, but we don’t have a crystal ball. It’s a great opportunity to meet like minds and be informed about this growing sector.
