12.11.2019 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Are you a Business looking to innovate and grow? Are you an Academic keen to engage with external partners? A KTP could be perfect for you.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme helps businesses in the UK to innovate and grow. It does this by linking them with an academic or research organisation and a graduate.

A KTP enables a business to bring in new skills and the latest academic thinking to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project through a knowledge-based partnership.

Some of the Academic benefits of KTPs are to support relationship building, translate research, KEF & REF, publish papers, graduate employment and R Coded – Income c. £28,000 per year!

Come and find out more from the KTP advisor for Wales, Howard Nicholls, at our lunch and learn workshop.

Hosted by the Institute of Life Science at Swansea University Medical School, this event is ideal for people working across the life-science sector.

Before lunch will be general information and questions, and following lunch will be an in-depth session for people in the process of shaping projects.

This event is run in association with Swansea LINC.
