Join us for the Welsh Health Hack 2020. Now in its fourth year, the event will again bring healthcare professionals together with digital, technology and data companies to solve clinical problems and challenges from across the health and care system in Wales.

It culminates in a two day event in January, where teams will be created, ideas generated, and a pitching event will take place in order to win one of two £7,5000 prizes, to bring your team’s solution to life! This is an exciting opportunity, not to be missed.

But there’s work to do before then…Here’s how it works:

October – From October onwards we’re looking for people to submit their problems. Any issue which requires a solution is welcome, all we need is a paragraph. Choose “Health and Care” ticket when you register, fill in the appropriate information, and we’ll get in touch with you. Now’s your chance!

If you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the challenge. To collaborate with NHS staff to develop solutions or new products choose ‘Solutions!’ when you register. Nearer the event date we’ll send you a list of the challenges and more detailed guidance about how you can take part. Put simply… turn up for the two days, find a team you can work with, and put your problem solving skills to work.

January – The hack itself will take place. There’ll be plenty of things to see, speakers to listen to, and a fantastic atmosphere of innovation. So, if you want to come but aren’t sure yet how you’ll be contibuting, choose ‘Participant’ and we’ll be in touch nearer the time with further details. We hope to see you there.

This two day event is a collaboration between The Bevan Commission, Life Sciences Hub, MediWales, M-SParc, and the NHS.
