We are delighted to announce that we have opened bookings for the Welsh NHS Confederation Annual Conference and Exhibition 2018 at Cardiff City Hall on 7 February 2018.

The Annual Conference is a leading national event in the health and social care calendar. It offers a unique opportunity for colleagues from all sectors of the health and care system in Wales and the wider UK to come together to share ideas, learn how others are making a difference, and look at ways we can improve our services.

Our theme for 2018 is Sharing, Learning, Improving and we are building a programme that will feature exciting speakers from around the UK and beyond. To offer an international perspective we are pleased to welcome Chris Wood MD, Medical Executive for iCentra Innovations, a joint venture between Cerner and Intermountain Healthcare in Utah, USA. Engaging, compelling, inspiring – Chris will share his experience of transformational change in value-based healthcare.

A range of workshop sessions focusing on our six core principles will give you the chance to discuss the key issues for the NHS of today and into the future.

Our Annual Reception and Dinner will take place the evening before the conference on Tuesday 6 February at the Bayside Brasserie in Cardiff Bay. This is a chance to catch up with colleagues old and new in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
