Abel & Imray Job Opportunity – Business Development Executive – Part time – Bath/Cardiff
We’re looking for an experienced B2B business development/marketing person to work with our Commercial Manager to help support our colleagues to retain, develop and create long-term client relationships.
As a firm of patent and trade mark attorneys we help others by looking after their ideas so that they are free to do what matters most to them. This dynamic role will offer a good fit for someone who is adaptable, proactive, a creative thinker and can get the job done whilst developing great internal relationships with our attorneys. Experience of business development and /or marketing in a professional services B2B environment is key to this role, as is demonstrating a curious and collaborative approach to BD and finding a way to get things done in a positive manner.
What you’ll be doing
As a member of the BD team your tasks will typically include:
• Assisting with BD and marketing activities across the firm
• Research and data gathering for potential patent/trademark targets
• Assisting individual attorneys to develop and action individual BD strategies/plans
• Recording, tracking and updating our CRM system for new potential client enquiries
• Assisting with the organisation and running of BD/marketing events for the firm
• Assisting with pitches and tenders
Ideally the role will be based in either our Bath or Cardiff office, and some travel to our offices in Bath, Cardiff and London will be expected on occasion. Please be aware that many of our colleagues continue to work remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
