Cardiff University Research Society (CUReS) is now recruiting for its new programme Learn2Innovate!
Learn2Innovate will be a short duration programme (running November 2018 – April 2019) to equip students with tools to learn about clinical innovation with mentors from academia, healthcare and industry to produce a tangible output. This will allow students to get an understanding of the healthcare market needs, real-life challenges of implementing research into systems, devices or processes and make it usable for the wider world.

This period can be used for students to develop a specific output – whether it be a device, a quality improvement measure or an education tool – relevant to the research/clinical work of the specific team they get assigned to. We are looking for mentors to guide students who have an existing idea or area they would like to introduce changes to. Whether you are a MedTech company in the process of developing new devices, a clinician who would like to change aspects of clinical practice or a researcher who would like to translate their work into practical systems, then we would love to have you on board.

Students accepted into this programme bring their own funding and provide support and manpower for your projects.

If you are interested, please send an outline of your work and your CV to CUReS@cardiff.ac.uk by the end of December. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to find out more.
