CellPath Through to UK Finals as Welsh International Expansion Category Winner
CellPath Ltd, a family-run company based in Newtown, are toasting further success after being announced as winners of the prestigious Barclays Entrepreneurs Awards 2018, in the category of International Expansion.
CellPath specialise in the manufacture and worldwide supply of equipment, consumables and services to the Cellular Pathology sector. With an in-house state of the art injection moulding capability, they differentiate themselves in the market through the ability to directly manufacture many of the plastic products that are used in modern Histology and Cytology laboratories.
Following the implementation of an aggressive export plan, the company has seen significant year on year percentage increases in their international sales over the last three years. This has mainly been achieved through the better supporting of existing and new distributor relationships, a greater focus on alternative routes to market, and significant investment in increasing brand awareness through exhibiting internationally which took the company to the USA, Canada, Dubai, South Korea and Europe during 2017.
CellPath have also expanded their UK market-leading CellNass archive management solution into Benelux, and most recently into Germany where they have now secured their first customers. Further international expansion of the service is in the pipeline.

As regional winner CellPath will be invited to attend the National Awards Dinner in London on October 10th which will be attended by the other winning regional entrepreneurs and industry experts. A national judging panel made up of key industry leaders and influencers will then select the overall winners and present the awards on the night.
