The UKTI Life Sciences team in Madrid are offering relevant UK chemical/life sciences companies a cost-effective way to gain insight into the Spanish chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries plus the opportunity to visit CPhI Worldwide*, www.cphi.com, the world’s leading pharmaceutical business and networking event.

The Spanish pharmaceutical industry is an important player in Europe. There are currently 185 companies representing approximately 19.8% of all investment in R&D in Spain. The sector employs 39,000 people turning over EUR 14 billion.

Who should participate?

UK companies targeting the Spanish market and offering UK origin products/services including: fine, speciality, custom chemicals; excipients/ formulation; analytical & lab services; clinical trial services/CROs; finished dosage, finished product pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceuticals; packaging/labelling and other relevant products and services.

What does it cost?

£340 per company to participate in the core market insight programme. This includes a contribution towards a group OMIS (UKTI Overseas Market Introduction Service) plus a small partner administration fee. Travel, accommodation, subsistence and insurance are not included.
