Finance Wales Invest Bulletin
Early stage investment is a key part of Finance Wales’s strategy and they are building a strong track record investing seed and development capital in young, IP-rich, technology-based businesses.
In the last financial year they have made 30 early-stage investments – 14 of which were co-investments with other venture capital investors. Overall they invested a record £37 million in the year – a 42% increase on the previous year.
In this issue Finance Wales have focused on how important it is for early-stage technology companies to secure a well structured investment package. They’ve also included a few of their recent investments.
Finance Wales invests in deals at all stages and in a range of sectors and are continuing to invest in emerging and growing sectors such as advanced engineering, clean technologies and medical devices as they build their portfolio.
