Health Technology Wales’ first Annual Report is here!
Health Technology Wales is happy to announce the publication of the Annual Report 2018-2019.
It’s the first annual report published by the organisation and highlights what it has achieved since it was launched in November 2017 to improve the quality of care in Wales.
Welsh Government established Health Technology Wales with a clear purpose, to support the identification, appraisal and adoption of non-medicine technologies that will improve the lives of people in Wales.
In the 2018-2019 Annual Report, Health Technology Wales shows how it’s achieving these key aims: from topic identification with Open Topic Calls, to evidence-informed Guidance and to engaging with multi-sector stakeholders.
Health Technology Wales has included case studies in each section of the annual report. These are real examples of its activities mapped against our evaluation logic framework to show what difference its work is making.
The report also summarises how Health Technology Wales has delivered on the Welsh Government recommendations from the 2014 Access to medical technologies in Wales inquiry, a report which led to its foundation.
“Alongside our multi-disciplinary groups, we’re confident that Health Technology Wales is bringing together the right expertise to make a real difference to people’s lives in Wales.”
- Professor Peter Groves (HTW Chair) and Dr Susan Myles (HTW Director)
Health Technology Wales wants to thank everyone it has worked with and helped it grow into an innovative organisation, and invite them to join its journey.
