In-licensing agreement between Neem Biotech and InQpharm

On 8 November 2011 a licensing agreement was signed between Neem Biotech Ltd and InQpharm for the in-licensing of rights to Neem’s know-how and patents in manufacturing standardised garlic extracts for exclusive use in the fields of Human Health and Animal Health. InQpharm (www.inqpharm.com) is a highly successful, innovation driven pharmaceutical company with an extensive international network which focuses on product development from natural sources.

Together Neem and InQpharm will commence further work on compound development, pre-clinical and clinical efficacy studies to unlock fully the potential of standardised and stabilised extracts derived from garlic (Allium sativum). The extracts will be utilised in products to be developed for incorporation in functional food, health supplements and herbal drugs for the indications of immune, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory tract health and other therapeutic areas in humans and animals.
