Job Opportunity: The Life Sciences Hub, Chief Executive Officer

The Life Sciences Hub Wales are recruiting for the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Reporting to the Chair of the Company, Chief Executive Officer will guide the Company through a significant period of change and play a lead role in positioning Wales as the place of choice for health, care and wellbeing innovation.

An inspiring innovation champion, the CEO will create a vision for success, building a ‘can-do’ culture within our motivated workforce and deliver strong, fruitful relationships with our stakeholders, promoting collaboration with, and building links between NHS Wales and industry.

The CEO will drive the development and execution of activities to contribute to the delivery of the Welsh Government’s objectives outlined in the Prosperity for All: the national strategy and Economic Action Plan, and as Principal Accountable Officer will be accountable to the Welsh Ministers for the effective and efficient use of public funds, deploying robust controls to ensure probity, transparency and value for money.
