Job Opportunity with AgorIP: Engagement & Communications Officer
The role of the Engagement & Communications Officer is to raise the profile of the AgorIP activity and what it can do for clients in order that as many interested parties as possible proactively contact the AgorIP Operation with their inventions. This complements the targeted activity of the Technology Transfer Officers (TTOs) and Technology Transfer Managers (TTMs) who will engage with Inventors/researchers following initial handling of leads by the Engagement & Communications Officer.
The role requires a high degree of initiative and provides for wide operational autonomy and flexibility. It includes but is not limited to: advanced and confident communication across disciplines and with a wide variety of stakeholder constituencies both internal to the university and external with other universities, UHBs and businesses. The Engagement & Communications Officer will work closely with the Director of AgorIP to maximise the awareness of business to the availability of AgorIP managed IP and inventions.
