MedaPhor expands into Spain and Portugal
MedaPhor, a spinout from the University of Cardiff which develops ultrasound training systems, is expanding into Spain and Portugal.
The company has partnered with medical simulation education expert SEEMSREAL to manage sales of its ScanTrainer product across the region.
SEEMSREAL is an established supplier of medical simulation technology in the Iberian Peninsula, with MedaPhor joining current partners including Gaumard Medical, iSimulate and Inventive Medical.
Henrique Mendes, chief executive at SEEMSREAL, said: “We pride ourselves on offering our customers the very best solutions on the market and work with industry leaders to ensure that we can do this.
“Our goal was to find a partner that could provide the quality standards we were looking for from an ultrasound skills training simulator so when we discovered ScanTrainer it was clear it was a must-have solution for our portfolio. MedaPhor, which is headquartered in Cardiff, currently has customers in more than 16 countries worldwide for its ultrasound simulation technology.
