Ensinger Group Ltd is pleased to announce the purchase of Jet Engineering (Scotland) Ltd on 10th July 2012 as part of the ongoing expansion plans to the Ensinger Machined Parts Division.
Jet Engineering (Scotland) Ltd, based in Glasgow, has been trading since 1994 and has gained a highly regarded reputation for its quality finished plastic components using some of the most state of the art CNC machinery and equipment. The company serves a variety of industries including offshore, subsea, material handling, electronics and medical from their 7,000sq ft factory at Anniesland Business Park in Glasgow, employing 23 highly skilled personnel.
The strength, quality of service and engineering potential demonstrated over the years by Jet Engineering was something that attracted Ensinger to this extremely positive business venture. Previous owners, Jim Wallace and David Hendry, who will both continue to run the business on a day to day basis as senior managers of Jet Engineering, aspired to expand the company further and by becoming part of Ensinger, both companies believe that this wish can be fully met in the near future.
The acquisition by Ensinger, who is celebrating twenty five years of trading in the UK this year, has strategically added to their machining capabilities as a group and the company is very excited about the bright future prospects of its machined parts division in the UK.
The company will continue to trade as Jet Engineering (Scotland) Ltd, joining Ensinger Precision Engineering Ltd in Tonyrefail, South Wales and Trig Engineering Ltd in Bridgwater, Somerset to strengthen the machining arm of the Ensinger group.
