New Report Available – Taking Medical Sensing Technologies to Market

The global market for medical devices and diagnostic testing is large and growing. This growth is supported by a number of favourable drivers suggesting continued opportunities for companies targeting this market. However many small companies with sensing technologies that could potentially be used for medical applications are reluctant to even consider this market due to fears that it is too complex, regulated and has long time lines to success.

To address this issue the ESP KTN has just completed a study to investigate the challenges to taking sensing technologies into medical applications. The findings, together with guidance on funding sources and support organisations for companies new to this area, should enable companies to be better prepared for the challenges they are likely to encounter when entering this important market.
