Wynne-Jones IP to open London office

Intellectual property firm Wynne-Jones IP has revealed plans to open its first office in London.

The firm’s new premises in Moorgate will complement its existing regional base, which includes offices in Cardiff, Cheltenham and Telford.

The office will be headed up by long-serving Wynne-Jones partner and chartered trade mark attorney Victor Caddy, who is relocating to the capital. He has more than 20 years’ experience as a trade mark and design attorney and litigator.

Caddy said: “It has long been an ambition of mine at a professional level for Wynne-Jones to link the great capital cities of England and Wales, and I am looking forward to the synergy this will produce.

“Positioning ourselves in London means we can serve a new and diverse client base while, at the same time, through Aipex, strengthening the support we provide to clients in Wales and the South West of England on the European stage.”

Aipex is a pan-European IP law firm part-owned by Wynne-Jones with a small number of IP firms in other European countries. It enables it act as regional counsel for clients with interests in Europe as a whole.
