MediWales' NHS Procurement Event and the Life Science Exchange's Route to Market Surgery

MediWales’ next event will cover the new NHS procurement arrangements in Wales and will also include an overview of CCG and procurement in the English NHS.
We are collaborating with Wales Procurement Services to outline the changes that have been made to the way procurement is now operating. The new procedures will be based around a category management approach and some of the people who are leading this work will be on hand to outline what this means for both suppliers and the way the service reflects the customers’ and patients’ needs.
The event will also look at some of the procurement issues colleagues see when tenders are returned and examine their evaluation from a quality perspective.
